Attendance Policy

Attendance is crucial for maintaining a smooth and enriching learning environment for both our students and teachers. When a child doesn't arrive as scheduled or unexpectedly attends, it disrupts the flow of our classes and detracts from the experience of other students. To ensure that we can effectively deliver our high-quality enrichment classes and accommodate flexible scheduling, it's essential for us to know in advance who will be attending each day. Therefore, we kindly request that all registered students adhere to our attendance policy. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us create the best possible learning environment for everyone.

Excused Absences:

In case of emergencies or if your child is unwell and you cannot make changes to your schedule by the 7 A.M. deadline, please notify the site director as soon as possible.

No Show Fee ($30/day):

To support the efficient operation of our classes, a "No Show Fee" of $30 per day is implemented. This fee is automatically applied if your child is scheduled to attend via the Workshop Parent Portal but does not arrive. To prevent this fee, we kindly request that you remove scheduled classes on the Workshop Parent Portal by 7 A.M. on the day of the class.This ensures accurate attendance records and prevents unnecessary fees.

Unscheduled Attendance Fee ($30/day):

To support the efficient operation of our classes, a "Unscheduled Attendance Fee" of $30 per day is implemented. This fee is automatically applied if your child attends a class without prior scheduling by 7 A.M. on the day of the class or before the class reaches capacity. To prevent this fee, we kindly request that you schedule classes on the Workshop Parent Portal by 7 A.M. on the day of the class. If a class is already full, we encourage you to make alternative arrangements for the day.

Late Pickup Fee ($5/minute):

To maintain fairness and respect everyone's time, please be aware of our "Late Pickup Fee" policy. A fee of $5 per minute per child is automatically applied if you pick up your child after 6 P.M. This fee is necessary to honor our Workshop teachers' commitments and ensure they can maintain their work schedule without disruption.

Integration with Other Activities or Sports

To facilitate seamless coordination with other activities or sports on campus, we offer the option for your child to sign in and out of Workshop. Here’s how you can enable this:

1. Create a PIN: Add your child as a contact on the Workshop Parent Portal to generate a unique PIN.

2. Notify Site Director: Email the site director with the following details:

- Start and end dates of the activity

- Activity start and end times

- Specify whether your child will sign in to Workshop after their activity

Please Note: If the activity immediately follows school, your child should proceed directly to the activity.

Following these steps ensures smooth coordination between Workshop classes and other campus activities or sports, allowing your child to maximize their time effectively.
